Surely It's All in the Mind

I make no judgements about the images I find in seemingly unrelated objects; not because it's clear that nothing can be said, but because I am so far unable to draw any conclusions. However, I will assert there's something more to it than unrelated co-incidence. For instance, the naturalistic pattern of a salmon jumping over a stone, found on a rock in a salmon stream. Faces of horror in the smoke of 9/11. Shadows of people in the ashened ruination near Mount St. Helens. It's the synchronicity that motivates me to really look at the textures, surfaces and patterns in things in case there's something more on display within, embedded, sometimes shifting...
